The department of computer science was established in 2013. The department functioning with the commencement of the UG course BSC Computer Science. The main aim of the department is to provide quality education to aspiring graduates. The course is specifically designed three year programme which aim to develop required professional skills and problem solving ability. After acquiring degree, there is further educational opportunities for higher studies like MSc, MCA, MBA, etc. at any universities. They will also get professional jobs in IT industries after completing this course.

Objectives

The Department of Computer Science, Amal college of Advanced Studies, has 3 class rooms with a capacity of 55 students in each and two of them are Smart Class Rooms. Our final year class room furnished with an interactive LCD TV with Wi-Fi, Internet browsing, HDMI and USB connectivity and second year class room furnished with LCD projector.

A well equipped Computer Lab functioning in the Office Block. Computer lab offers a good space for the students to explore their practical sessions. Around 55 computers with latest configuration are available with high speed internet facility.


